Gliding
Gliding is the aerodrome's main activity, which benefits from perfect weather conditions and an impressive landscape, making it the best place in Europe for this sport. Gliders take off with the help of a towplane, and once at a certain altitude, they disengage and use the ascending hot air currents in order to stay airborne.

Whoever tries this way of flying, gets hooked, since there's no better way to see the whole Cadí and the Pyrenees than from the cockpit of a glider.

Hot air ballooning
The easiest and most relaxed way to enjoy the Cerdanya valley landscape from above is, undoubtedly, aboard a hot air ballon. The trips are quite varied: some take off at dusk, with the cold, calm air of the morning, while others leave the ground at night. Pushed by the wind, the balloons travel through the valley, landing in some obstacle-free spot.

The trips may be organized for groups of up to 16 people, lasting from 30 minutes to 4 hours.

The Aero Club Barcelona-Sabadell will soon offer the possibiliy of earning the ultralight pilot license after purchasing a state-of-the-art Tecnam P2002 Sierra with full glass cockpit avionics.

Championships and Fly-ins
